In the Morning visit to the Sanctuary on Barbana’ s Isle with a boat. Barbana’ s Isle find in the lagoon of Grado, where since VII century exists a Sanctuary . It was rebuilt many times, and today is seat of religious activities with a monastery.
In the Afternoon a guided tour at the Ca’ Tullio estate in Aquileia to taste the wine and to discover the secrets and qualities of the wine.
The Ca’ Tullio estate extends over 200 hectares. The winery is in a large building which was formerly used for drying tobacco, built at the beginning of the century.
In 1994, it was decided to restore it to its former beauty, preserving its original architecture.
Ca’ Tullio wines are part of the Friuli-Aquileia D.O.C. zone.

Although outside Trieste, connections to the town centre are guaranted: by bus (line 20), taxi or motorship (departure from Garibaldi berth). From the A4 motorway, after the Trieste-Lisert tollgate, continue along the grande viabilità towards Muggia/Border with Rabuiese/Border with S. Bartolomeo for about 40 km until directions for Porto San Rocco.
If you're coming by plane Ronchi dei Legionari airport is about 50 km from the hotel and it's connected to the centre of Trieste by a bus/shuttle bus wich takes you to central station FS; from here you can get to Muggia by bus or taxi.
The same goes for those who go to Trieste by train, after getting to Trieste Central Station, it's about 20 km by bus or taxi.
